Landshark Island Murder Mystery Event a Smashing Success!
The Inland Empire Parrot Head’s November event, Murder on Landshark Island, turned out to be a thrilling adventure filled with intrigue, laughter, and some unforgettable characters. Held at the beautiful Landshark Island Resort (Hosted by club members, Brett and Wendy), the night kicked off with guests arriving in full character, from daring treasure hunters to the island’s own dramatic Diva, each adding their own flair to the night’s mystery.
The plot unraveled with the shocking discovery of Johnny B. Goode’s untimely demise, and tensions heightened as Detective Sharky Malone called everyone to assemble and began to reveal the secrets and motives each guest carried.
In a dramatic conclusion, Pirate Rick was unmasked as the killer, having succumbed to a treasure-fueled rivalry with the victim. The evidence, ranging from the infamous bloody Landshark bottle to a mysterious treasure map, left no doubt about Rick’s guilt.
A big congratulations goes out to our award winners:
- Super Sleuth: Tiki Tom, who pieced together the clues and unmasked the culprit before the final reveal.
- Best Actor: Detective Sharky Malone, for their outstanding commitment to their role and unforgettable performance – including a show-stopping musical number accompanied by none other than Jolly Mon Jack.
- Best Costume: Jolly Mon Jack, whose ensemble and roaming musical narratives truly brought their character to life.
Thanks to all the participants, over $300 was raised in this single Phundraising event, a fantastic contribution toward our club’s ongoing charitable goals. With laughter, suspense, and camaraderie, the night proved to be a memorable Party with a Purpose!
