THE PINEAPPLE CHILI MARGARITA

Sweet heat, baby. April didn’t come to play nice.

Spring shows up every year acting like it’s all soft breezes and gentle sunshine. And then there’s this margarita, kicking the door open with pineapple on one hand and jalapeño on the other like, “We’re doing things differently now.”

The Pineapple Chili Margarita is what happens when sweet meets heat and decides to have a little fun with it. Bright, juicy pineapple brings the tropical vibes, while fresh jalapeño slices add just enough kick to keep you paying attention. It’s smooth, a little spicy, and exactly the kind of energy April deserves.

Because let’s be honest. After winter, we’ve earned a little edge.

Pineapple Chili Margarita Recipe

Serves: 2 Parrotheads or one who likes to live dangerously

Ingredients

2 oz silver tequila
1 oz triple sec or orange liqueur
2 oz pineapple juice
1 oz fresh lime juice
2 to 3 fresh jalapeño slices
0.5 oz agave syrup, adjust to taste
Ice

For the Rim

Lime wedge
Chili lime seasoning or Tajín

Garnish

Pineapple wedge
Jalapeño slice

Instructions

Run a lime wedge around the rim of your glass and dip it into chili lime seasoning. Set aside and admire your life choices.
In a shaker, lightly muddle the jalapeño slices with the agave syrup. Don’t overdo it unless you’re feeling brave.
Add tequila, triple sec, pineapple juice, lime juice, and ice.
Shake it like you mean it.
Strain into your prepared glass over fresh ice.
Garnish with a pineapple wedge and jalapeño slice, then take a moment before that first sip. You’ve earned it.
